My mom gave me this wool ball from her bird pole when she & my dad moved to Kenya. There hasn't been much activity on the ball, but today, I got my first taker! Again, sorry about the poor picture quality.

They're Back!!!

Every summer my blue birds disappear. I haven't quite figured out why, but it's disappointing none the less. However, it makes their return so exciting! And today, I saw my first blue bird return! Here's a picture of him - his mate was with him, but flew off as I was grabbing the camera. Sorry the pics aren't the greatest. I was afraid to get too close in fear of scaring him off.
